Who doesn’t like a road trip ?!

My New Zealand Photography Road trip Tours are designed with equal parts fun, adventure and photography. There are plenty of sterile, boring and overly serious photography workshop tours out there if that is what you are looking for. But this is what I do for a living and who doesn’t want a job where you have fun all day everyday at work !

A typical day is getting up to photograph the sunset in a stunning location. We simply set up our gear and I walk around and talk to and help people individually with their photography and camera use. Then off to breakfast and much needed coffee, before checking out of our accommodation and in the van to head off to our next location, stopping along the way to check out any interesting or scenic places as well as some lunch. We then check in to our next nights accommodation, photograph sunset before having dinner together.

Then we do it all again the next day in a completely new location !

We visit all the iconic and incredibly photogenic locations such as Queenstown, Mt Cook, Wanaka (tree), Lake Tekapo, Arrowtown and Milford Sound, also incorporating a few ‘hidden gems’ in secret locations that I have found over many trips there, rarely visited by other photography groups.

My New Zealand Photography Road Trip Tours and designed for the young and young at heart. If you have a good sense of humour with a laid back attitude to life you will fit in well and make a great new bunch of like minded friends. A reasonable level of fitness is required for my tours as well as a love of the outdoors. If you are not seriously into photography you are more than welcome to come along anyway just to see and experience the locations we visit, and join in the fun !

What’s included ?

All accommodation - 3-4 star - Private rooms

Photographic tuition from me (and possibly an assistant)
Department of Conservation permits to conduct tours in National parks and Conservation land. Many other workshop tours do not have these permits and are operating illegally

Travel Insurance (must be purchased by clients before the tour)
Airport transfers (we will meet at the first nights accommodation in Queenstown)

Extra snacks, food, souvenirs or personal items
